Food Bank

UPDATE: 26th April 2017

Oundle Foodbank will reopen its doors at the Methodist Church on Tuesday 9 May, at the revised time of 2pm, until 3pm.  We will now be linked with the Stamford Foodbank and through them with the Trussell Trust.

The foodbank will be run by volunteers from St Peter's, Baptist and Methodist churches.

People who are in such a short-term crisis that they cannot afford to buy food will be able to obtain vouchers for food from a number of local agencies including the churches.

You can help by:

  • donating food: boxes are in place again in both Co-op and Waitrose for donations - non-perishable, but including long-life milk and juice.
  • helping to run the foodbank; more volunteers are needed, for the rotas for Monday mornings (for food sorting) and Tuesday afternoons, and for admin work done at home.
